2021 is coming to a close, and while we are optimistic for a return to a more traditional environment in 2022, we recognize the valuable shift we’ve seen to more virtual and hybrid industry events.
The recent 2021 PDA Aseptic Processing of Biopharmaceuticals Virtual Conference delivered engaging presentations, panel discussions, and case studies around cutting-edge topics. The event also provided many opportunities to gain access to top industry leaders, including regulatory representatives, and global vaccine experts.
As Oliver’s first time at this conference—organized by Parenteral Drug Association Asia Pacific—we contributed to the demo session with a short presentation titled The Relationship Between Packaging Adhesives and Particulate Generation in Nested Syringe Tubs.
At present, conferences and trade shows in the Asia Pacific region are using more of the hybrid version, utilizing a multitude of technologies to ensure online interaction, in-person attendance, and visitor dialogues.
Asia is opening up slowly, but cautiously. It would be great to have this conference as an “in-person connection”; nevertheless, important insights and knowledge were shared virtually.
