Oliver Healthcare Packaging Supports Increasing Demand With Expansion

Published on February 2, 2016

Oliver-Tolas® Healthcare Packaging recently celebrated the expansion of its adhesive coating operation in Hamilton, OH with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The additional capacity will support increasing demand for the company’s heat-seal healthcare packaging materials.

The expansion includes an additional high-speed coating line to manufacture the company’s SealScience® heat-seal coatings for sterile-grade packaging materials. “We are excited to enhance the value we deliver to our customers.” said Jerry Bennish, President and CEO. “Quality, cleanliness, continuity of supply and controlling costs are of utmost importance to healthcare manufacturers. Our recent investments will ensure we are exceeding customer expectations in these areas.” The new coating line includes a sophisticated vision system for detecting defects and a number of automated process monitoring controls.

In order to serve our customers and employees, we decided to invest in our talented people in Hamilton, OH” says Russell Douglas, Global VP of Operations. The facility has been operational since 1992. Russell adds, “The new equipment will provide additional capacity and redundancy in our operation. This is one of many proactive steps we take to insulate our customers from the risk of supply interruptions.” Oliver-Tolas manufactures heat-seal coatings using two technology platforms, Xhale® and SealScience®.
