From Machine Operator to Head of Quality

I raise up my voice—not so I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard. We cannot succeed if half of us are held back.

- Malala Yousafzai, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize

The month of March is dedicated to women. As we close out Women’s History Month, I wanted to share the story of my colleague and friend, Georgianna Gallegos. Many of you know Georgie due to her long tenure in medical packaging. She has worked tirelessly to get to where she is today, and I find myself inspired by her fierce determination. She has an uncanny ability to root out and solve really complex problems. While I admire Georgie for all of this, what I appreciate most about her has nothing to do with work. Her desire to help others is at the top of that list—at work, and in the community.

I’m honored to call Georgie my friend, and am proud to share her story with you here.
