Elevated Temperature & Humidity: Seal Creep Resistance

Seal Creep Resistance

This test is used to measure seal creep resistance under elevated temperatures and high humidity. One inch wide seal coupons are placed in an environmental chamber. The tail is affixed with a weight to stimulate stress on the seal. On the left is Oliver's coated paper. On the right, a competitor's coated paper shows less favorable creep resistance after 2 hours.
